Where Curious Kids Become Confident Learners.

Elementary school should do more than check boxes. At UTVA, it builds the kind of foundation that lasts, taught by Utah certified teachers who actually know your child.

School That Works for Your Family

Sending your child to school, even an online one, is a big decision. You want to know they are safe, engaged, and actually learning. You want a teacher who sees them, not just a name on a roster. And you probably want a little peace of mind that the education they are getting today is going to matter tomorrow.

That is exactly what UTVA Elementary delivers. A real school, with real Utah certified teachers, a rigorous curriculum aligned to Utah State Standards, and a structure that gives your child consistency without sacrificing the flexibility your family needs.

A Full Curriculum. A Real Education.

UTVA Elementary covers all the core subjects your child needs, taught at the right pace for where they are, not where the calendar says they should be. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade receive instruction in English and language arts, math, science, history, and art. Beginning in third grade, students also add a self-guided elective in music or a world language.

Lessons are built around multiple learning styles, combining interactive animations, printed books with illustrations, original videos, and hands-on materials that arrive right to your door. Formal and informal assessments are built in throughout so your child masters concepts before moving forward.

Learning That Feels Like Learning

Elementary school at UTVA is not a screen full of worksheets. Lessons come alive through a mix of interactive animations, beautifully illustrated books, original music, short videos, and hands-on experiments that make concepts stick. Materials are delivered right to your door so learning happens everywhere, not just online.

Subjects are intentionally connected across grade levels. A story your child reads in language arts might tie directly to the history or art lesson happening that same week. That kind of cohesion builds deeper understanding and keeps learning from feeling fragmented.

Students can move at their own pace. If a concept clicks quickly, they move on. If something needs more time, they get it. Built-in progress tools keep parents informed every step of the way.

A Teacher Who Knows Your Child's Name

Every UTVA Elementary student has a certified Utah teacher guiding their learning. These are not automated systems or recorded lectures. They are real educators who provide live instruction, track your child's progress, and are available by phone, email, and live virtual class sessions throughout the week.

Small class sizes mean your child gets attention, not just access. When a student is struggling, their teacher knows it. When they hit a milestone, their teacher celebrates it. That kind of relationship is what makes UTVA Elementary feel different from other online options.

Our students spend so much time learning together, so being able to see their teachers and classmates face-to-face is incredibly meaningful. You can feel the excitement when students recognize each other or run to hug their teacher.

More Than Online. A Real Community.

UTVA Elementary is an online school, but it is not an isolated one. Throughout the year, students and families come together at events like the Back to School Fair, grade-level outings, and other gatherings held across Utah. These moments build real friendships and real community among students who might otherwise only know each other from a screen.

Because UTVA serves families statewide, your child has classmates from across Utah, a diverse, engaged group of learners who share the same curiosity and drive.

Give Your Child a Strong Start.

Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is open. UTVA Elementary is accepting full-time students in grades K through 5 across Utah.
