WHAT IS THE RISE SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT?
The RISE Summative Assessment is given at the end of a school year to measure student’s proficiency on Utah Core Standards and school accountability• English Language Arts (ELA) (grades 3-8)• Writing (grades 5 and 8)• Mathematics (grades 3-8)• Science (grades 4-8)
Testing Window: End of school year
Student results are available by request Fall of the next school year.
Grades Tested: 3-8 grade
Subjects Tested: ELA, Writing, Math, Science
WHAT ARE RISE BENCHMARKS ASSESSMENTS?
The RISE Benchmark Assessments are administered remotely during your student’s regular online class time. These are formative assessments that give your student’s teacher valuable data on student mastery of concepts that have been taught in class and what areas students may need additional support in. This is NOT a required State Assessment.
Testing Window: Throughout the school year.
Grades Tested: 3-8 grade
