WHAT IS THE NWEA?

NWEA is a nationally-normed test that measures student growth and proficiency. It is administered three times a year in English and Math classes and provides important information about how a student is growing, where they compare nationally to other students in the same grade, and if they are performing on, above, or below grade level.

WHERE DOES MY STUDENT COMPLETE THE NWEA?

The NWEA Assessments are administered remotely during your student’s regular online class time. These online tests are given at the Beginning, Middle, and End of the Year to measure growth and help our teacher identify content areas your student may need additional support in. The NWEA is NOT a required State assessment, it is a REQUIRED school assessment.
