Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent Enrollment offers high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses for college credit and high school credit simultaneously, or concurrently. While students earn high school credit, they also earn college credit which is recorded on a permanent college transcript. Through this program, students will be able to enroll in certain introductory-level courses offered on their high school campuses, college campuses or laptop.

Utah Virtual Academy has partnered with SLCC and Utah Tech (formerly Dixie State) to bring concurrent enrollment opportunities to students at UTVA. Concurrent Enrollment courses offer the opportunity for high school students to take college-level courses for college and high school credit simultaneously, or concurrently. Concurrent Enrollment (CE) students register for the class at both the high school and the college. While students earn high school credit, they also earn college credit which is recorded on a permanent college transcript. UTVA students can participate in CE classes via their laptops through Utah Tech (formerly Dixie State) or on campus through SLCC.
